Chapter 1: When Timelines Collide

Kael woke to find himself in two places at once. He was in his apartment in Neo-Tokyo, but he was also on a battlefield with a bronze sword in his hand. He was a starship captain, but he was also a medieval knight.

All his lives, all his incarnations, were bleeding together.

“It’s happening,” a voice said. He turned to see Aria—but which Aria? The priestess? The scientist? The AI? All of them?

“The convergence,” she said. “All the timelines are collapsing into one. We have to stop it, or reality itself will cease to exist.”
